Part of the chalk paint range by Annie Sloan, Emile is a beautiful aubergine colour. Pair it with greens and pinks in your home for a warmer alternative to a pastel colour scheme. Use the 120ml Emile Chalk Paint to paint a chair for a pretty pop of colour. Alternatively, mix with Old White Chalk Paint to produce a pretty lilac tone. 

  • The 120ml Emile Chalk Paint is enough to paint a chair or bedside table. No need to sand or prime!
  • Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax. For a waterproof finish use Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
  • I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture. This allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
  • Alternatively, use a Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
