Five Favourite Braided Rug Colours at Source for the Goose
Many of the lovely pieces you can buy at Source for the Goose are one-offs or have limited numbers. However, a constant brand I always have in stock at Source for the Goose are the gorgeous jute range from the Braided Rug Company. This range has a mix of rugs and baskets in wonderful colours. Let me tell you about the five favourite colours that are popular both with me and my customers.
Number 1
Seaspray - this colour in the Braided Rug range could not be more aptly named. A soft blue/green which depicts the colours of the ocean. Don't imagine that this colour only suits a beach themed home. Far from it, this soft toned braided rug will suit many interiors styles. Here we have a rectangle version of this popular rug, but it is also available in oval.
Number 2
Thistle - this pretty colour is used in baskets, coasters and rugs in a two tone mix with natural jute. It is a pretty blue, almost duck egg in tone. Being two tone, this colour way is popular as it will fit in many rooms where the more colourful options of braided rug may be overpowering. Here we can see it in a doormat, ready to greet your guests to your home.
Number 3
Slate - this is a fairly new colour in the Braided Rug range at Source for the Goose. In fact this is not jute but made from recycled plastic. I love this rug, as it is robust and hard wearing, can be used in a sunny position as it won't fade, and you can wash it easily. All making it a win-win for me! The slate colour version of this rug is a lovely deep blue with a the merest hint of a green tone. This makes it work well in colour schemes of duck egg and sage. You can even use this rug outside! Will you choose this slate coloured braided rug for your next home update?
Number 4
Misty Blue - One of the mainstay colours in the Braided Rug range at Source for the Goose as it is always so popular. Misty Blue is a mix of blues and reds with a hint of orange, all tied in with natural jute. It's a muted but riotous mix which works well in a rustic interiors scheme. Here we can see the oval version along with a co-ordinating basket.
Number 4
Pampas- last in my 5 choices but certainly not least. This pretty, muted colourway will add a sunny feel to a room. Its warm tones work well with pinks and creams, as well as being ideal with sage green. Don't tell the other colours, but this one is probably my favourite! Available in both oval and rectangle, Pampas could well be your next favourite rug as well!
So, there we have it, I made my 5 favourite braided rug colours (and it wasn't easy). Now it's over to you which ones are your favourites from the baskets or rugs by the Braided Rug Company at Source for the Goose? Let me know!
Love Jill
