Jute is a durable and organic natural fibre, well-known for its hardwearing quality. It is soft to the touch, yet can endure heavy foot traffic. These environmentally friendly rugs are crafted in Bangladesh, providing vital employment opportunities to the local community.
Due to the nature of jute, it is not recommended that they are placed in an area with constant UV light such as a conservatory as the colours will fade. Regular vacuuming will keep your lovely rug clean, and you can spot clean with soap and water. It is not recommended to immerse your rug in water, as it can buckle the fibres.
