There is some wear on the painted finish, especially on the roundels on the top of the base, where generations of children will have rubbed the paintwork with their feet. The headboard also has these marks as can be seen in the photos and are as would be expected on a piece of furniture of this age. These with the original metal stretcher on the base and its vintage floral fabric covered base all add to the romantic appeal and character of this vintage item.

A mattress is not included but this bed takes a standard single size.
