120ml Primer Red Chalk Paint®

Annie Sloan Primer Red Chalk Paint® is a warm, dark red which works for many furniture styles. Picture this as an earthy tone for a rustic home. It looks gorgeous when paired with green tones, such as Chateau Grey or Versailles. This lovely Chalk Paint colour can also be given a more glamorous look by the addition of gilding wax or gold leaf.

A 120 ml project pot is enough to update a bedside cabinet or chair. For larger items you will need the 1 litre tin.

Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.

I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.

Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
